Twittape is mixtape blog based on you twitter suggestions!
It all starte a while ago while i was compiling my monthly "05Mixtape" series. A mixtape which i release every 5th of every month. Every compilation is a musical snapshot of the music i've been hearing during that month.
I had only 7 tracks for the mixtape and i was shooting for a 13 tracks mixtape. So of course i turned to my twitter followers for suggestions. I've spent a long time searching to find the right people to follow, so i know i can trust this guys. In less then five minuets i had not only 13 songs but i had about 20 more the i originally needed. It was a shame because there were some really good suggestions that didn't make the cut.
later on that night ( i usually do this things at night.. the pleasure of being a Freelance) i kept occupied but the overwhelming attendance for the mixtape query. Them Twittape was born in my mind. Fast enough i got this blogspot platform on added a quick cute design to it and it was ready to go!
The idea is that twitterers can just post their suggestion into their twitter feed, adding the hashtag "twittape" (#twittape) and their suggestions will be taken into notice.
The fun part is that at the end of every month their will be an online mixtape based on your suggestions with a twitter mention as credit, so if someone likes your musical taste they could easily follow you on twitter. (For example : @roypovar: nine inch nails - head like a hole #twittape).
Sounds easy right?
Go on and tweet a song's name and maybe you'll be on the next mixtape!
